NPLD clean up event with Public Land Matters organization

Event details:

Meet at the junction business 395, highway 395, and brown road (35.549635, -117.714771) at 8 AM Saturday September 26th, 2026 then vehicle caravan to the work sites (less than 10 minutes away). We will meet then divide into groups (and assign appropriate vehicles). Access to some of the work sites may require high clearance vehicles. Plan for a day of work outside (work gloves, hats, long sleeves, pants, closed toed shoes, water, and snacks).

Sam Merk and BLM Staff will orient you to the sites then we will get to work by packing out illegally dumped trash. We will work till noon then have lunch together. Public Land Matters organization is graciously supplying food and water for the group. Hope you can make it! More info here.
