2026 Biomass Collection Volunteer

The Biomass Collection volunteer will help maintain a long-term monitoring program by collecting data that quantify grazing effects on grasslands and wetlands throughout the park.

Duties include:

• Dismantling, moving and reassembling exclosure fences
• Installing T-posts
• Clipping vegetation
• Sorting clipped vegetation into appropriate Green Grass, Green Forb, and Brown categories

NOTE: Plots will be sampled throughout service date range, but volunteers only need to be available for a minimum of one day.
