Fall Visitor Services/Maintenance Volunteer

Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge is recruiting a Visitor services/maintenance volunteer to work on Balcones Canyonlands NWR from June- September 2026. This volunteer will have a full hook up RV site with 30 and 50 amp, plus sewer/water. The site is covered and also has a laundry facility next to it. If you are a couple, this site is in exchange for 24 hours a week per person. Single person will work 32 hours per week. The volunteer will perform general maintenance duties around the refuge, cleaning the trailhead restrooms Mondays and Fridays, and possibly work in the visitor center when a shift is not covered.
