Free RV site included.

Atlantic City and Big Atlantic Gulch Campgrounds are first-come, first-served sites offering picnic tables, fire rings, water hydrants, trash service, and vault toilets.

Volunteer hosts serve five days per week, beginning one week prior to Memorial Day and continuing through mid-October. The schedule is designed to support peak visitation periods and includes weekends and holidays, with two midweek days off. Hosts must provide their own RV or camp trailer for onsite living. A designated host site with full sewer, water, and power hookups is provided. Applications are welcome from individuals or couples.

Hosts should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. All duties are performed outdoors in a high-elevation environment with variable weather conditions throughout the season. Temperatures may range from lows in the 30s and 40s—with occasional rain or snow—to highs in the 70s and 80s. Restroom and trash services are contracted and are not included in regular host responsibilities. A daily reimbursement is provided for each day worked.

Season: One week before Memorial Day weekend through mid-October.

Weekly Schedule: Thursday through Monday, including holidays; days off are Tuesday and Wednesday. Additional time off may be arranged with recreation staff.
