Clean and organize maintenance tools, equipment, work areas, and storage spaces. Monitor the campground for safety concerns, damage, leaks, malfunctioning equipment, or other problems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, the office, and other team members. Notify management when a repair requires additional assistance, specialized training, or outside service. Assist with other maintenance and campground projects as assigned. Light Cleaning Responsibilities This position is not primarily responsible for cleaning cabins. However, maintenance team members will help maintain shared and outdoor spaces, including: Cleaning and restocking campground bathrooms and bathhouses. Keeping the guest laundry room clean and orderly. Picking up trash and cleaning general outdoor areas. Helping maintain clean, safe, and presentable common areas. Assisting with additional cleaning needs during especially busy periods when requested. The campground’s four sets of bathhouses are a shared responsibility between guest services and maintenance staff. Occasional Office and Store Support This position will primarily work outdoors, but team members may occasionally be asked to assist in the campground office or store. Office and store support may include: Greeting guests and providing friendly assistance. Selling store merchandise, firewood, ice, and other items. Operating the register and accurately processing purchases. Answering basic questions or directing guests to the appropriate team member. Helping restock or organize the store when needed. Training will be provided for any assigned office or register duties. What We Are Looking For A reliable team member who consistently arrives on time and is ready to work. A self-starter who can recognize a problem and take appropriate action to resolve it. Someone who completes work carefully, correctly, and thoroughly. A person who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive campground. Strong practical problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently without needing constant direction. The ability to communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and management. Willingness to move between different maintenance, groundskeeping, cleaning, and guest-service tasks. Previous maintenance, groundskeeping, painting, electrical, campground, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required. Willingness to learn and follow all propane, pool, equipment, electrical, and workplace safety procedures. Physical Requirements This is an active outdoor position requiring the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, reach, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive tasks.
