Arches Visitor Center Local Volunteer FY26

Are you looking to enhance visitor experience and help protect the natural and cultural resources at Arches National Park? Apply to be part of the Arches team and join us as a Visitor Center Volunteer!

We are looking for people who live locally (in Moab & surrounding area) to volunteer every week or every other week on a consistent day for at least one four-hour shift in either the morning or the afternoon.

No housing or RV spaces available.

Major Duties

Work may include:

• Staffing the visitor center and following routine opening, closing, and operating procedures.
• Answering visitor questions about the park; providing orientation to the park and the Moab area.
• Providing accurate, updated information including appropriate safety and resource protection concerns in the visitor center, at park overlooks, and on park trails.
• Actively participating in a safe workplace culture.
• Carrying out the above duties in a collaborative, professional, and respectful manner.
