Trails&Rails Volunteer

Volunteer will be traveling within the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve between Montgomery and Hinton, West Virginia. Volunteers will be placed in groups of two to provide informational talks to passenger on the Amtrak Cardinal. Volunteers will be trained in safety management practices. All Trails&Rails volunteers must collaborate and work well with Amtrak representatives. The train can be subject to delay, so volunteers must be flexible. Other risks include, slipping, rail conditions, (darkness or fog), train malfunction, or train delays etc.
