The primary duty of the Bulger’s Hollow Volunteer is to provide customers with answers to questions, help with maintenance tasks, cleaning, and help campers get registered, if needed, in Bulger’s Hollow Campground. We expect that the volunteer be professional around all customers and help them when possible. Our volunteer is the face of this campground and needs to be welcoming and presentable to all of our campers. Communication with our Lead Park Rangers is extremely important, and volunteers will need to be in contact with them if ever there are any concerns. The volunteer will be expected to stay on site for the duration of the weekends and a portion of the day during the weekdays. The campground volunteer will need to average 21 hours per week. The government will provide a campsite on which to park the volunteer’s camping unit. This site will have electricity and water hookups and a dump station available at no cost to the volunteer, during the time period of the volunteer service. The volunteer must provide their own reliable, licensed, and insured vehicle and camping unit as well as fuel for those vehicles. Training will be available for certain government issued equipment.
