Watering Revegetation Sites in Rocky Mountain National Park

Please note that this volunteer opportunity is located on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park, near the town of Grand Lake, Colorado.

Do you have a passion for service, helping public lands, and plants? Rocky is seeking volunteers to assist with watering a revegetation site near the Grand Lake Entrance of the park. This task is best performed by a pair of volunteers. Couples or pairs of friends are encouraged to apply; please indicate in your application if you are applying with a second person. Individual applicants will likely be paired up with a second volunteer, if selected.

Duties of the position including hooking up hoses, turning on sprinklers, and limited hand-watering with a hose and wand. Shifts will take place twice per week; days of the week are flexible, but preferred days are Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday. Watering will take 1-2 hours to complete. The position runs from mid-July through September.

Please include relevant experience and skills in your application. Experience working with plants is beneficial, but not required.

Lodging/an RV site is not available as part of this volunteer position.
