What you will do:
- Engage with visitors by providing essential park information, safety updates, and a welcoming volunteer experience.
- Assist with daily operations at the Malaquite Visitor Center.
- May have the opportunity to lead interpretive programs such as guided beach walks, fixed-station interpretation, etc.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all other volunteers, Park staff, and visitors.

Commitment:
- There is a minimum one day a week to volunteer for this position.
- Core working hours of 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Exact hours can be flexible.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- No housing or RV sites are provided for this position.
Physical Requirements & Health Considerations:
- As a volunteer within the interpretation & education division, you must be able to stand, sit, and work for extended periods of time.
- You may be required to work in varying weather conditions including elevated temperatures, sun exposure, high humidity, rain, wind, etc.
- Must be comfortable walking on uneven terrain.
- Must be comfortable interacting with the public.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable taking supervision and feedback.
