Natural Resource Management Assistant

We currently have no housing available for volunteers. We are seeking applicants traveling in RV's or from the local commuting area.

Stones River National Battlefield's primary cultural resources are the landscapes where the Battle of Stones River raged. Proper care of those landscapes requires a team effort to keep the multiple ecosystems that make up the battlefield healthy. Natural Resource management volunteers will work alongside employees to remove invasive plants while encouraging the growth of native species. Volunteers may also assist in making observations and gathering data that will guide resource management planning.

Applicants seeking lodging or use of our RV space must commit to at least 32 hours of service per week for a period of at least 8 weeks.

NOTE: Our Resource Management team works Monday-Friday. This opportunity is not available on weekends.
