2027 Campground Maintenance/Guest Services Team Member

Location: Williams/Exit 167/Circle Pines KOA Resort – Williams, Arizona />Position Type: Full-time, seasonal />Season: Flexible contracts available, with start dates between March and May and end dates ranging from after Labor Day through December />Schedule: Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Scheduled shifts may fall anywhere between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.; however, schedules will be arranged to avoid requiring an employee to close late and return for an opening shift the following morning. Position Summary Circle Pines KOA Resort is looking for dependable, self-motivated team members who enjoy working outdoors and helping guests. This is a hands-on position combining campground maintenance, landscaping, site preparation, propane service, property cleanliness, and friendly guest interaction. Previous campground or maintenance experience is helpful, but we are also willing to train someone who has a strong work ethic, good judgment, and a genuine willingness to learn. Primary Responsibilities Perform basic maintenance and repairs throughout the campground. Assist with basic electrical work, such as replacing breakers and wiring receptacles, when properly trained and authorized. Complete required training and safely dispense propane to guests. Operate weed eaters, lawnmowers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment. Clean and prepare campsites following guest departures, including: Cleaning firepits Cleaning grills and picnic tables Blowing off patios and site areas Picking up trash and microtrash Checking pedestals and other site features for visible problems Reporting or correcting maintenance concerns within the employee’s training and authorization Escort guests to their sites in a friendly and helpful manner. Communicate campground information clearly and help prevent or de-escalate guest conflicts. Keep roads, campsites, public areas, buildings, and workspaces clean and presentable. Assist with light housekeeping duties, including trash removal and public-area touch-ups. Help with projects, painting, staining, repairs, organization, and seasonal campground setup or shutdown. Operate tractors, skid steers, trailers, or other equipment when trained and authorized. Previous equipment experience is helpful but not required. Perform other reasonable duties based on campground needs. Keeping the campground clean is a shared responsibility across every department. Team members are expected to pick up trash, address simple issues when they see them, and communicate larger concerns promptly. Qualifications and Physical Requirements Willingness to learn basic electrical, plumbing, landscaping, propane, and general maintenance skills. Ability to safely use hand tools and outdoor power equipment. Self-motivated and able to recognize what needs attention without constant direction. Friendly and professional when working around guests. Able to remain calm, respectful, and solutions-focused during guest concerns or disagreements. Dependable attendance and willingness to work weekends and holidays. Ability to remain on your feet and move around the campground for extended periods. Ability to frequently bend, reach, crouch, push, pull, and lift or carry the tools, supplies, trash, and equipment associated with assigned duties.
