Resaca de la Palma Battlefield Maintenance Volunteer

Come help out our maintenance staff keep our park beautiful. This will be a more laborious volunteering opportunity for those who love to be outside and, in the dirt and shrubland. You will be supervised by a maintenance staff or volunteer coordinator during your shifts. This position will meet bi-weekly on Wednesdays.

General Duties:

• Tree and shrub trimming
• Palm frond pickup
• Hauling cut branches to brush pile
• Trash pickup
• Maintaining picnic area
• Brazilian pepper removal

Please bring with you:

• Refillable water bottle
• Cap or hats
• Appropriate clothing for weather
• Sunblock
• Bug spray

We will provide:

• Gloves
• Reflective vests
• Eye protection
