🛠️ Hit the Trails: Become a Trail Crew Leader at Kennesaw Mountain!

Love the outdoors and don’t mind getting your hands dirty? Join the Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club and help preserve the beauty and accessibility of our park’s trail system!

As a Volunteer Trail Crew Leader, you’ll:

🌿 Lead with Purpose – Guide and motivate small groups (10–12 volunteers) during trail workdays, helping them stay safe, productive, and engaged.

🪓 Get Hands-On – Tackle meaningful conservation work like removing berms, digging drainage ditches, moving rocks, and using tools to maintain and improve trails.

🌦️ Embrace the Elements – Work in a variety of outdoor conditions—rain or shine, hot or cold—while making a lasting impact on the park’s landscape.

🤝 Connect with the Public – Expect plenty of interaction with visitors and fellow volunteers as you represent the park and promote stewardship.

📅 Volunteer on a Regular Schedule – Most trail work takes place during monthly Trail Workdays on the second Saturday of each month, making it easy to plan ahead and stay involved.

🪪 Note: A valid driver’s license may be required for certain tasks or locations.

This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy physical activity, teamwork, and protecting natural spaces. Whether you're an experienced trail worker or just eager to learn, your leadership will help keep Kennesaw Mountain beautiful and accessible for all.
