Saguaro NP TMD Maintenance

Saguaro National Park is seeking maintenance volunteers to support facility and grounds upkeep within the Tucson Mountain District. Volunteers will assist Maintenance staff with routine tasks that directly contribute to the preservation, appearance, and safe operation of park assets. Volunteers will work primarily outdoors or in maintenance facility areas. Tasks may involve physical activity, exposure to weather, and use of tools under the supervision of park maintenance personnel.

-Perform general maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools, including light repairs, basic carpentry, and grounds upkeep.

-Assist with painting projects and surface preparation.

-Support ongoing facilities care as assigned by Maintenance staff, working independently or alongside other volunteers.

-Complete all mandatory NPS safety trainings and adhere to established safety regulations.

-Experience using hand tools, power tools and basic painting equipment.
