Bark Camp Recreation Area Site Host

The Clinch Ranger District is seeking an energetic volunteer to serve as the site host for the Bark Camp Recreation Area for summer 2026. Bark Camp sis nestled in the Cumberland Mountains in deep Southwest Virginia a where outdoor adventures abound. Duties of the position include general grounds maintenance, mowing, restroom maintenance, litter pick up, providing visitor information, tracking visitation, assisting with special events, and informing staff of issues as they arise. Generally, at least 25 hours of service is expected per week. The selected site host will need to provide their own travel trailer or other camping accommodations.
