Visitor Center Volunteer

Volunteers in this position will be regular weekly or bi-weekly volunteers serving in the Visitor Center orienting visitors, starting the park film, completing bookstore sales, and answering basic questions about the park. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to meet people from all over the world, serve their community, expand their resume, or just work with a great group of people. Visitor Center Volunteers are sometimes the only person a visitor interacts with during their visit. As such, these volunteers are often the face of Fort Larned NHS and are expected to have the utmost professionalism, inter-personal skills, and ability to resolve minor conflict.
