Summer lovin', picking up trash! 🎶
Head to Fort Foote Park to help our partners in the Potomac Conservancy remove litter from the shoreline! Every bit of garbage strewn about can potentially wash into the river, endangering its health for both people and wildlife.
Meet leaders from the Conservancy in the park at 9:00 AM to receive equipment and instructions. It's a bit of a walk down to the water's edge, so be sure to have appropriate footwear and suitable clothing. Additionally, please bring your own water, as there are no facilities at the park.
Register now to help out and sign up with the Conservancy for extra information!
