The Boulder Cave Day Use Area / Chinook Pass Trailhead Attendant will meet and greet visitors on busy Friday, Saturday, and Sundays when the sites are experiencing high use. Assistance with operations at each site is important to provide for an enjoyable visitor experience.

BOULDER CAVE- This site requires the attendant to assist the camp host with checking in visitors that have a reservation., provide information on the site, assist with clean up, and providing information on recreation opportunities in the area.

CHINOOK PASS TRAILHEAD- This site requires staff be on site to encourage fee compliance and ensure the area is being utilized for its intended purpose. The attendant will remind visitors they are at a fee site and provide information on how to pay their fee. FEE/MONEY COLLECTION WILL NOT BE REQUIRED. Monitoring the area for litter and cleaning the bathrooms may also be required. Use of a government vehicle may be authorized.


If a government vehicle is not available, mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicles is authorized.
