John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir – US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking volunteers to work on maintenance projects at John H. Kerr Reservoir during the “off” season. Volunteer(s) will work 24 hours a week.
Volunteer(s) must complete 24 hours of work per week to qualify for a free campsite with water, electric and sewer hookups.
The duration of this position lasts from November 16th 2026 to February 26th 2027 and includes a full hookup site (electric, water, sewer) on Kerr Lake. Individuals/partners are welcome to apply. For additional information call Volunteer Coordinator Cassie Cross at 434.738.6143 ext. 6168.
