Come one, come all! The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park and Preservation District is looking for community members to uplift and steward our national lands.


This will contribute to the overall visitor park experience, prepare the park land for outdoor exhibits, and upkeep of current wayside plaques.

The position will require the participant be able to:

Bend over, walk, and pick up litter, pet waste, and weeds from our Visitors Center parking lot area, Auburn Ave. Neighborhood area, the Peace Plaza, and Promenade (Walk of Fame Area).


Personal Protective Equipment will be provided such as the pooper scooper, trash pick-up tool, vest/uniform, trash bags, and gloves. Participant will need to bring a giving spirit, loose long-sleeved clothing, and closed toed shoes (please dress for the weather).
