Seed Collecting Community Volunteer Day

Please meet inside the Visitor Center at 9:00 AM to sign waivers, use bathroom, and get situated. After a brief introduction in the Visitor Center, we will caravan in personal vehicles out to the project site. We will work together to identify native plants and collect their seeds for future restoration efforts.

Please bring long pants, comfortable shoes, sun protection, a water bottle, and gardening gloves if you have them. 20 pairs of gloves will be available for loaning out on first come first serve. Children under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Note that we use volunteer.gov as a signup, so once you submit the application you are accepted and on our list! Another email with full logistics will be sent out the week of the project.
