Transitioning out of the military and into a civilian career? Lake Mead is looking for active-duty military service members in their last 180 days of service. We have multiple positions in various fields for SkillBridge candidates to choose from and consider.

·        Conservation and Resource Management: Wildlife biology, botany, GIS, and environmental protection.

·        Operations and Logistics: Volunteer event planning, dispatch, and project management.

·        Infrastructure and Trades: Facility maintenance and Aids-to-Navigation

·        Education and Outreach: Preventative Search and Rescue, graphic design, and community engagement.

Positions will provide valuable civilian experience in park operations. Your military discipline, leadership, and problem-solving skills are exactly what we need. The timeframe is determined by the candidate, so you can ignore the listed dates associated with this listing. We prefer positions to be 120-day appointments or longer but will take someone for as little as 90-days. Positions are 40 hours per week.

Housing is not available; although, applicants are encouraged to reside in the surrounding park communities.
