Fort Raleigh Groundskeeper

Join the maintenance team at Fort Raliegh National Historic Site in proudly taking care of the grounds of the site of first English settlement in the New World.

Assist with general groundskeeping and maintenance, including mowing, weed eating, pruning, weeding flower beds etc. No housing is available, and local volunteers could commit to as little as one hour per week. Uniform, PPE and training will be provided. If interested, additional opportunities exist to assist in other maintenance needs as appropriate including basic carpentry, plumbing, facility maintenance and custodial work.
