Monarch Tagging Bio-Blitz

Join park staff and subject matter experts from around the community as we tag monarch butterflies for MonarchWatch.org, celebrating our public lands! This come-and-go event will be on the park’s north prairie, off Smokey Hollow Road. Learn more about the prairies and other pollinators while contributing to scientific research effort.

We recommend volunteers wear weather appropriate clothing, including long pants and hiking boots. It is recommended to bring sunscreen, bug repellent, and plenty of drinking water and snacks as needed.
