Visitor Center Trash Clean Up Event - 9/11 Day of Service

Join us on September 11 Day of Service, by cleaning up the Malaquite Visitor Center. We will focus on picking up trash and litter in the areas surrounding the parking lot, along with parts of the dunes and Malaquite Beach if needed. This is a great opportunity to contribute to protecting vital ecosystems and enhancing the beauty of our beloved park. Come join the fun and make a positive impact for all ages!

The clean-up event will begin at 9:30 AM. We will have a brief discussion on safety and the movement of trash in our ocean.

Please bring lots of water to drink, a snack, sunscreen, and dress for the weather. Close-toed shoes are required.

Gloves, trash grabbers, safety vests, and trash bags will be provided.
