We want YOU for Trash Brigade!
What is Trash Brigade? Trash Brigade is a new service opportunity designed to assist the Facilities Management division with cleaning park green spaces after large scale public events and periodically throughout the year. During this historic year of sesquicentennial celebrations, Independence National Historical Park is scheduled to be the backdrop for many highly attended events, and we want to ensure the park continues to do its part in the fight for a cleaner Philadelphia.
NOTE: Trash Brigade events do not occur on a regular basis. By registering for this opportunity, you will be added to a contact list and will receive communications for upcoming opportunities as they arise. You are not expected to participate in all events, but rather be available as your schedule allows throughout the year.
Trash Brigade is suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by their legal guardian at all times.
Note: Although this posting asks individuals to "Apply," anyone who submits an application will be considered initially registered for Trash Brigade. You will be contacted by the "Point of Contact" with further instructions and must submit liability forms before being considered a member of the Trash Brigade. These forms will be available in your Volunteer.gov account within a week of your initial application.
Apply on the official agency site (link above).
