Are you passionate about history and civil rights? Join us as a Tour Guide at the Medgar and Myrlie Evers Home! This is a unique opportunity to engage with history, meet diverse visitors, and share the powerful legacy of the Evers family, who played a pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement.

What You'll Do: As a volunteer tour guide, you will share stories of the Evers family and help educate the public on their role, impact, and legacy in furthering the fight for equality in Mississippi and throughout the rest of the country. You will help guests connect the history of the home, with the history of the community, and assist them with questions, concerns, and other needs alongside a Park Ranger.

Why Volunteer? As a volunteer, you'll have a unique opportunity to connect with this community, this history, and this story. You will grow your skills as a public speaker, connect with visitors from across the world, and make an impact educating the public about the importance of civil rights history. As a volunteer, you will also be eligible to get a free Volunteers Pass to other National Park sites after completing 250 hours of service.
