Do you like meeting people from all over the country? Do you like spending time in the great outdoors? If so, apply to be a Trail Rover and Trail Cleanup Volunteer at Little River Canyon National Preserve!
Little River Canyon National Preserve is looking for Trail Rovers and Trail Cleanup Volunteers who will help keep our park pristine and keep visitors safe. As a Trail Rover, you will get to interact with visitors at overlooks and on trails and provide information to help them stay safe during their visit. You will also be able to enjoy the park for yourself as you rove the trails, from looking at gorgeous scenery to encounters with wildlife.
Trail Cleanup Volunteers will also be able to enjoy the beauty of the park as they help remove litter from our highly trafficked areas. Lots of litter in the park are around the Little River Falls Overlook and parking lot. The Little Falls Trail which is our most visited trail has lots of litter on it on the way to the bottom of the canyon that is 1 1/2 miles round trip. All litter pick up supplies will be provided to volunteers.
This position is a great opportunity to make a tangible impact in your community and explore Little River Canyon, the deepest canyon east of the Mississippi River.
