Outdoor Maintenance

Position Summary The Outdoor Maintenance position is repsonsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the campground grounds. This is a hands-on position that requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and taking pride in keeping the property clean, safe and welcoming for our guests. Primary resonsibilities Mow lawns and maintain grass areas throughout the park. Weed whack and trim around campsites, buildings, trees, signs roads and other areas that cannot be reached with a mower. Clean and maintain fire pits between guest stays Pick up litter and debris throughout the park and keep common areas clean. Maintain a newat and attractive appearance of campsites, roadways, walkways, and other outdoor areas. Help maintain landscaping and outdoor common areas as needed. Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and performing outdoor maintenance. Qualifications Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, campground or general outdoor maintenance experience preferred but not required. Ability to operate lawn mowers, weed whackers and other grounds-maintenance equipment. Ability to work independently and stay on task. Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean property. Ability to life, carry, bend stoop and perform physical outdoor work for extended periods. Ability to work as part of a team and interact respectfully with guests. Work Environment This is an outdoor, part time seasonal position. The employee will work around campsites, vehicles, guests, lawn equipment and other campground activities.
