New Mexico Native Plant Society Volunteer

These volunteer positions are open to current members in good standing with the New Mexico Native Plant Society. Expert knowledge of and ability to correctly identify native plants is mandatory.

Various projects will be scheduled throughout the year. Some projects may include the manual removal of weed seedlings by hand or using hand tools (hereafter referred to as manual removal); trail brushing of plants growing into trails; reseeding projects; salvaging and replanting native plants; conducting native plant walks with the public and/or with other volunteers and park staff; and researching and documenting native plant species for use in brochure or website educational information.
