Restroom Cleaner

Join us to work, play, and stay on the Great Lakes! Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping is hiring experienced, full-time Restroom Cleaners for the 2027 workamping season. Restroom Cleaners work in teams of two cleaning restroom and shower buildings across our 200-acre, 600-site, and 100-cabin campground. These positions are full-time at 40 hours per week, per person, and are active, fast-paced roles essential to providing our guests with an exceptional camping experience. All hours worked paid at $18.00 per hour, plus an end-of-season bonus, Paid time off (PTO), Wi-Fi, camp store and propane discounts, plus local golf privileges. Key Responsibilities: Thoroughly clean, scrub, and sanitize camp restroom and shower facilities across the property. Disinfect toilets, sinks, countertops, and showers; polish mirrors and wipe down partitions. Sweep, mop, and squeegee tile floors to maintain clean, safe, slip-free surfaces. Restock paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and other guest essentials. Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and sweep facility porches and entryways. Safely operate utility golf carts and vehicles to transport team gear and cleaning supplies across the grounds. Report plumbing leaks, fixture repairs, or facility damages directly to maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience in professional housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or janitorial services. Ability to work effectively and coordinate daily tasks as a collaborative two-person team. Physical capability to bend, kneel, squat, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand/walk for an 8-hour shift in varied weather. Comfortable working efficiently at a brisk, steady pace to meet daily park turnover schedules. Valid driver’s license to operate park maintenance carts and vehicles.
