The memorial custodial volunteer opportunity at Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial supports visitors and staff by maintaining clean, safe, and functional restroom facilities. These services are essential to visitor well-being, public health, accessibility, and the overall enjoyment of park resources, while also contributing to the park’s role as vital community infrastructure.


  • Aiding Facilities with cleaning restrooms and common areas in park offices, Visitor Center, and the monument restrooms and common areas 
  • Assisting Facilities with removal and proper disposal of waste in park offices, Visitor Center, and the monument restrooms and common areas 
  • Supporting Facilities with other minor custodial duties as they arrive through the shift such as removal of cardboard, refilling toilet paper, and replacing soap dispenser pods 
  • Notify volunteer supervisor of any issues or problems immediately by text message outside of this description
