Hack & Slash Invasives at Dyke Marsh!

It's a rule in scary movies to not go in the woods, but this Halloween, we're encouraging it.

Have a slash-tastic time removing invasive species with our partners Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail! It's a horror show to see non-native vegetation overtaking Dyke Marsh's crucial wildlife habitat, but enough volunteers and their blades can ensure no harmful plants make it to the end credits.

Ready for your starring role? Be on set with the Friends at 10:00 AM along their titular trail where they'll have all the tools your character needs to leave invasive plants on the cutting room floor.
