Cultural demonstration offers a meaningful connection to our kūpuna and the rich history of a sacred place. Hawaiian cultural practitioners bring the art of crafting to life by sharing their living heritage in practicing traditional crafts, techniques, and storytelling. Demonstrations will take place at the visitor center in the open lanai area.

Some variety of demonstrations are ulana 'ie'ie, hulu ali'i, hu, ulana lau niu, 'ohe kapala, hapai pohaku and many more. Demonstrators may sit or stand for long period of time and may be exposed to sun, rain, wind and so forth. Cultural demonstrations allow visitors the opportunity to understand and learn the value of tradition.
