Come participate in maintenance and interpretation work at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens!
Volunteers will assist in multiple visitor services needs and work with National Park Service staff to maintain park grounds and resources at Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens.
Volunteer tasks may include:
o Answering visitor questions and requests for directions
o Handling cash and credit card purchases in the bookstore
o Opening cash register and preforming other Visitor Center opening tasks
o Restocking and recording inventory
o Answering the phone
o Accessing accessibility of the park
o Leading talks and tours
o Roving the park to engage visitors
o Providing education experience for students
o Leading classes or activities
o Taking photos of the park
o Clearing brush and species removal
o Trail and pond maintenance
o Watering and moving plants
o Cleaning up various sections of the park
o Collecting and removing trash and debris
o Carrying moderately heavy trash bags
o Greenhouse maintenance
o Generally assigned maintenance tasks
