UTEP Work Study: Interpretation and Visitor Services Intern

If you are eligible for Work Study, you can apply to complete your hours as an Interpretation and Visitor Services Intern at Chamizal National Memorial.

In this role, you will be part of our Interpretation Team, supporting visitor center operations, programs, events, and various administrative tasks.

You’ll work alongside Park Rangers to develop your interpretive skills, share information about the park and its history, assist with roving the park grounds, participate in community outreach, support event planning, and help with education and engagement activities.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a Handshake account to apply
• Must be work study eligible
• Must apply on Volunteer.gov 
• Must be able to pass a background check
