On the Bridger-Teton National Forest there are many incredible forest roads to travel, amazing vistas, mountain biking and world class wildlife viewing. We are a part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and home to amazing outdoor opportunities, including the nearby Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. This opportunity is based out of the gorgeous Afton, Wyoming area and the volunteer will be working with our engineering/facilities team as a road crew volunteer for the summer of 2026.

Responsibilities include operating a water truck, roller or backhoe and moving heavy equipment to improve and repair Forest Service roads. When working with the road crew, the volunteer will be traveling and staying in a government provided RV at various locations on the Forest, typically in picturesque locations. The volunteer will need to be a CDL holder.

Start/End dates may be flexible.
