Bridge work ahead? Yeah, we sure hope it does!

Help our partners Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail clear non-native species from an iconic overpass! Part of the George Washington Memorial Parkway's original construction, this bridge is both historical and functional, but invasive vegetation can literally break it up if left to overgrow.

Are you over creeping plants undermining the Parkway? Meet the Friends between Alexandria Ave & W Boulevard Dr at 10:00 AM to receive tools and instructions. Bring water and wear clothes that protect against thorns/poison ivy.

Sign up below and on the Friend's website to join this opportunity!
