The Prairie Acadian Cultural Center is cooking up good food and a good time for visitors to experience the culture of the region. The center needs volunteers to demonstrate cooking in the cooking demonstration kitchen on Saturdays. Whether it's a crawfish etouffee or sweet dough pies, volunteers are serving up good food for visitors. This rewarding opportunity allows volunteers to share their cultural knowledge of local food with others through a demonstration. They help the park preserve and share the culture of south Louisiana for this and future generations through food.
