Parkwide Photographer Volunteers share quality photographs with Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Shared images are public domain and may be used in digital or print materials to educate visitors, inspire stewardship, document events, support resource management, or preserve moments of park history. Parkwide Photographer's may be assigned to capture images connected with park events, trails and other locations, flora and fauna, park visitors, staff at work, historic structures, seasonal subjects, or scenic photography.

Volunteers are required to provide and work with their own equipment, including a digital camera, zoom lens, computer, and photo editing software. Applicants should possess strong photography skills and have experience in digital photography, editing, and organizing and naming digital files. Parkwide Photographer's often work outdoors. Hours are flexible based on volunteer availability and assignment needs.

Applicants may be contacted to submit a portfolio of their work.
