Anacostia Park Cleanup Corps

Interested in giving back to Anacostia Park? Join this new volunteer corps to cleanup litter and debris on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday mornings throughout the summer months and contribute to a cleaner park during this busy time of year!

Need to Know:

• A form with two-hour shifts options on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings will be sent out each week. You can sign up according to your availability and are not obligated to volunteer every week, but at least once per month is appreciated.
• All supplies and PPE will be provided at the Skating Pavilion office.
• This event is open to small groups! Please contact nace_volunteers@nps.gov if interested in signing up your group for one weekend day or more.
• Any volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
• Bring snacks and a water bottle. Bathrooms and a drinking fountain are available.
• There is plenty of parking on either side of the skating pavilion and a bikeshare station available.
