Saturday Front Desk -Locals Only

Do you like meeting new people from all over the country? Do you like sharing your love of the outdoors, nature, and public lands with your community? If so, apply to be a Front Desk Volunteer at Little River Canyon National Preserve!

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Saturdays from 10:00 am-4:00pm volunteers this summer to staff the front desk at the Little River Canyon Center. As a front desk volunteer, you will be the first smiling face that visitors see as they explore the deepest canyon east of the Mississippi River. You will also play an important role in helping visitors have an unforgettable trip as you share with them all that the park has to offer, from the peaceful scenic drive and roaring waterfalls, to hiking and swimming adventures. We need people who know the area and the park. We need you to help operate the visitor center and assist with answering the phone and helping visitors with orientation to the park. The visitor center has a 20-minute film, gift shop, restrooms, and a lobby for visitors to enjoy.

This position is a great opportunity to learn more about Little River Canyon and share this knowledge with visitors from all over the world.
