· Greet visitors entering the Visitor Center: welcome, provide verbal and/or written information, hand out maps, customer comment cards, information about lake, trails and local area, etc.
· Interact and promote water safety with visitors within the park and lake
· Assist with various Outreach/Educational programs and events during scheduled volunteer days
· General landscaping, garden clean up and trail maintenance duties, as needed
· Assist with various maintenance and/or area improvements around the project
· Manage life jacket inventories at State Park beaches around Falls Lake
· Inspect bathhouses, pick up litter, other miscellaneous maintenance projects as needed
Other Information
Uniforms provided by the Corps at no cost to the volunteer.
RV/Trailer Pad (Free 50/30/120 amp electricity and sewer provided.
Must complete 24 hours of work per week to qualify for RV/trailer pad usage.
