The Mogollon Rim Ranger District is located in the Coconino National Forest in Happy Jack Arizona. We are seeking motivated individuals or couples to fill positions in the Mogollon Rim Campgrounds for the 2026 summer season. Host represent the Forest Service in public contacts with visitors by giving directions, explaining rules and regulations, answering questions and providing information. They report vandalism and other problems to Forest Service Personnel. They also perform minor maintenance, clean toilet's, rake site's, clean fire rings, grills and picnic tables, pick up litter and monitor area usage.

A Host must be able to work well with other's, be personable, neat in appearance and behave in a appropriate manner. They will be required to be on site a minimum of 32 hours per week, generally Thursday through Sunday including weekends and Holidays. The Host Position involves walking, raking, shoveling and working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. This may include (but not limited to) standing, bending, twisting, carrying and lifting. An enclosed Travel Trailer, Fifth Wheel or RV is required. Some hook-ups are available (no electricity). Cell phone coverage can be a challenge at most of our Camp Ground Sites even with provided boosters. Trash pick-up, propane and free Campsite are provided.
